 Farewell and Hello Celebration

On Sunday, August 31, we will say Hello to Pastor Rebecca as she returns and Farewell to Rev. John Autry as he departs as our Sabbatical Interim Pastor.  Please plan to attend as we discuss the impact the Sabbatical has had on our church.  We will share a meal following worship.  There will be no Sunday School on August 31st in order to prepare for our luncheon.

Welcome to the web ministry of the First Christian Church of Anniston, Alabama!  We hope you will enjoy looking around and learning more about us.  In these pages, you can find out about our community of faith, our common journey with God, and how you can become involved.  At First Christian Church, we celebrate the presence of the Living God in our lives and try to follow the path set before us by Jesus Christ.  We love our church, and we'd love to have you become a part of it!  May God's blessings be with you today and always!

 

 

Directions:  FCC is located on Leighton Avenue at 14th Street, one block east of Quintard Avenue/Hwy 21/431 in Anniston. 
From I-20, take Exit 185 onto Hwy 21 (Quintard Avenue) going north.
From the north, come into Anniston on Hwy 21 or Hwy 431 (Quintard Avenue). 
From either direction, when you reach the boulevard section (grass and trees in the middle of the street) of Quintard Avenue (5th through 18th Streets), watch for 14th Street.  Turn east (toward CVS) and go one block to Leighton Avenue.  The church will be on the corner.  Turn right and then left into the parking lot.  Welcome!

Adult Bible Study ~ Sundays @ 9:30
During September we will share our stories from the summer.  Pastor Rebecca will also share about her summer, including pictures of Italy at some point in the month.  This time of sharing is for everyone whether or not you have been attending the class in the past.

A great big THANK YOU to Rev. John Autry who has served as our Sabbatical Interim Pastor for the last three months while Pastor Rebecca has been on sabbatical leave.
